Maybe, instead working through all the sites in getting your magazine digitized and converted for all formats, you should consider a web site that does the conversions for you. It’s a site that many independent authors use to get their names out into the “blue nowhere” and it’s a free service to convert, although a small royalty fee applies to the sales. The royalty issue is probably a standard for most sites (b&n Amazon, etc.) anyway. The site is called smashwords.com, you may have heard of them, may not have, just thought I’d drop you some information about it. Thanks for the horror magazine, one of many floating in the world of opportunity on the web. Keep up the great work at Shock Totem, and you’ll probably hear from me soon. I have a lot of fiction I plan on submitting when your mag decides to accept again.

Downloaded mine this morning! Great stuff.

  3. Thanks, Jim. I am working on Smashwords now. Unfortunately I thought they accepted .epub versions, but they don’t. So I have to manually format it for their site. But I’m working on it. =)

    And thanks, Doug! You rule!
